Africa has an artistic culture that dates back thousands of years. Whether art from Africa is indeed 'art' or 'craft’, ‘esthetic’ or ‘conceptual’, we believe that creative self-expression is a vital part of life and enhances well-being.

Welcome,

Somewhere along my journey into veganism, I had the profound realization that I did not have to stray away from my ancestral roots to be vegan. I discovered that the cornerstone of my traditional native (East) African cuisines was a sustainable symbiotic relationship with nature and a diet rich in plant-based foods grown from the land.

I created Bantu Vegan to reclaim and retell my ancestral food stories. I also yearn to make green living accessible and affordable to as many people as possible. Inspired by old traditions and modern multiculturalism, I share recipes, products, and ideas designed to give you the tools to build a tasty, healthy, balanced, eco-friendly lifestyle.

Vegan or not, I welcome you to join me on my journey of exploration, experimentation, and discovery.

Love,
Sabrina.

“I ran out like a month ago and tried to go back to store bought, but was just like no. Once you've had that Bantu Vegan experience you can't go back!”
